Fellow Technical Advisor

Seeking a Fellow Technical Advisor to provide support to our federal government client in Aiken, SC.

The Contractor shall provide support for project planning for the Savannah River Tritium Enterprise (SRTE) classified network, TFNet, and system as well as the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) classified desktop network, SRPPF Net, and systems.
Responsible for review of specified requirements for expansion projects.
Provide support and mentoring to the Defense Programs Computer Operations and Cyber Assurance staff.
Present continuous improvement solutions and enhancements to meet business needs.
Tasks will require effective and professional communication skills (both written and oral) when interacting with Defense Programs Computer Operations and Cyber Assurance staff and customers.
Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled.
The client utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).
Work week excludes client's holidays.
Each work week has a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Area Security Access:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past 2 years are preferred.
Qualifications:
Fifteen years of proven experience in Information Technology assignment Previous experience in strategic planning, managing, and implementing projects involving operational server administration, network administration, integration, cyber oversight and monitoring support for IT and OT networks and systems.
Experience in project managing, advising and/or leading teams that specialize in cyber security oversight and monitoring support for IT and OT networks and systems.
Experience in development of requirements, test strategies and approaches, tool evaluation and selection, software and hardware testing and successful deployment of highly visible, enterprise-wide networks and integrated systems.
Experience in strategic planning, managing and implementing IT and OT systems projects both from a longer-term program planning perspective as well as from a computing operations perspective.
Experience assessing existing processes and IT systems to identify and address operational issues.
Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, VisioPro, Sharepoint) as necessary.
Capable of obtaining and maintaining a '' Q '' clearance.
BS Degree in Computer Science or a degree in a non-related field with 20 years of proven experiencePreferred Experience in strategic planning and project management experience with NNSA at SRS from an IT and OT system, network and/or cyber security perspective.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
