Manufacturing Process Engineer

A leading manufacturer of automotive components is looking for several Process Engineers for one of their largest and most profitable plants near Aiken, SC. The Process Engineers will lead process improvement, maintenance and manufacturing engineering projects to support continued growth and line changes. A 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university is required. Entry-level candidates with co-op experience in a heavy industry or the automotive industry will be considered. Degrees should be in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar. This is a hands-on position and a significant portion of time will be spent on the shop floor troubleshooting problems, running process improvement and new product trials. There is a strong preference for some exposure to statistics, SPC and cost reduction processes. This company offers excellent benefits, including paid relocation. This position qualifies for a bonus in the 15-20% plus range (paid weekly). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates with a stable work record who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply. Salary will depend on the years of experience and the level of process engineering skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
