An international manufacturing company near Aiken, SC is looking for a Production Manager to lead teams of Production Supervisors at 2 manufacturing plants. The Production Manager will report to the Manufacturing Manager and help him resolve technical and administrative issues, and fill in when the Manufacturing Manager is out of the plant. The Production Manager will not have direct reports on a full-time basis. When the Manufacturing Manager is in the plant, the Production Manager will lead efforts to improve the process flow and efficiencies of the operation. This is an excellent position to gain management experience and participate in staff-level decisions, as well as work hand-in-hand with Supervisors and Operators. A BS degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least 5 years of production management experience in a busy manufacturing environment. The Production Manager will need a solid background in SPC, Design Control, PPAP, continuous improvement, QC inspection, OSHA and EHS training, production planning, capital projects and employee motivation techniques. Good communication and leadership skills are critical. Travel is expected to be minimal. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
